This blog follows my feminist action work from fall 2008 to summer 2009 as I travel to meet, learn from and mobilize women with disabilities to take action on our human and civil rights. I am also exploring the Deaf women's advocacy scene.

On June 9 and 10, 2009, I will be co-facilitating a FRIDA feminist disability rights organizing training at Liberty Resources in Philadelphia, PA. Please contact me if you are in the area and would like to attend. In addition, a feminist disability rights organizing training is in the works for Chicago. I am also available for discussion and trainings on feminist disability rights organizing in your area---feel free to get in touch!
I would love to hear from anyone interested in partnering to further feminist disability/Deaf rights. This has been made possible through the Founder's Award for Young Women Advocates, presented by the Chicago Foundation for Women.
